The Sanborn Large Tubular Ultrafiltration Systems are specifically designed for the disposal of oily wastewater streams, vibratory deburring solutions, spent metal working coolants, aqueous degreasing and parts washing solutions, etc. The horizontal UF Systems are equipped with robust tubular UF Membrane Modules to provide a small footprint packaged system providing trouble free oily wastewater processing with a minimum of system maintenance.
Standard “off-the-shelf” Large Tubular Ultrafiltration Systems are available to process wastewater streams up to 20,000 GPD. Custom designed Tubular UF Systems are available in larger sizes as well as various UF System configurations. These Large Tubular Ultrafiltration Systems constructed of corrosion resistant process components such as PVC piping, valves, stainless steel UF process pumps, etc.
Benefits and Features:
Self-Contained Packaged System
Systems are delivered as a pre-piped, pre-wired and pre-tested equipment skids to minimize system installation, commissioning and start-up.
Simple Installation with minimal manpower
Easily expandable to double processing capacity
Simple and Reliable Operation
Sanborn UF Systems are equipped with vertical centrifugal seal-less process pumps can handle highly abrasive solids without the associated downtime with pump maintenance and seal replacement.
The 1/2" tubular UF membrane modules are highly durable and process resilient allowing the processing of oily wastewater streams that are loaded with high concentrations of solids that are typically associated with metal working operations such as mop water, vibratory deburring and water-soluble grinding coolants.
Dramatic Direct Cost Savings
Reduces Parts Washer Solution disposal costs by upwards of 98%+ depending on the % of oil in the feed stream
Recycles Parts Washer Solutions streams to save the recurring costs of new solution purchases and waste disposal.
Simple Operation and Reliable Performance
Operates with a single pump and no chemical additives
Membranes provide a positive barrier between process and the environment
