Membrane Systems for Waste Minimization
For Wastewaters containing oily emulsions or very fine suspended solids,
Sanborn’s Ultrafiltration Membrane Systems have proven to be the most reliable
treatment solution. Sanborn’s Tubular UF Systems are easy to use and maintain
and use less energy and do not generate the airborne pollution that
evaporators do.
Ultrafiltration (UF) Systems
UFV250 Systems
The
UFV250/500 is a tank mounted compact system.
Processing up to 500 gpd, these systems can reduce waste up to 98% without
the use of chemicals. Typical applications include filtration of spent coolants
and emulsified coolant oil contaminated wastewater, mop water, vibratory waste
solutions and compressor blowdown.

UFV750 Systems
The
UFV750/1500 is a tank mounted compact system.
Processing up to 1500 gpd, these systems can reduce waste up to 98% without
the use of chemicals. As with the UFV250, typical applications include emulsified
oil removal from spent coolants, filtration of mop water,
vibratory waste solutions and compressor blowdown.

High Capacity UF Systems
Sanborn
Technologies' high capacity UF systems employ wide-channel (1/2") tubular
membrane technology to separate water from suspended solids and emulsified
oils. With process rates up to 6000 gpd, these membrane systems are delivered
pre-assembled complete with controls for easy installation. Download UF Systems Brochure
Specialty Membrane Systems
UFV-200 - For pristine clarification of low solids systems
The
UFV is specifically designed with a seal-less vertical pump and 1/2 inch diameter
tubular membranes to handle heavy solids loading that would plug conventional
membrane systems.
This system can handle up to 200 gpd on high solids applications such as tumbling
and vibratory finishing.
